  • provide contribution within the development of safety critical embedded real time SW for aircraft systems according to RTCA/DO-178B, Level A to Level D
  • provide autonomous working according to AES and project specific processes
  • support the tailoring of development processes to project-specific needs
  • support the Specification of Software High Level Requirements
  • develop the Software Low Level Requirements
  • provide software coding in C
  • are responsible for the SW debugging
  • provide software integration and analysis
  • support the design of internal and external interfaces
  • provide design/adaptation of existing solutions for new applications by using dedicated/standardized tools
  • support the definition of “Statement of Works” to be presented to potential suppliers
  • provide configuration control / change management of all items produced using applicable CM tools (e.g. Synergy, Dimensions) according to applicable Configuration Management Plan

  • have a degree as a Software Engineer (or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired by other means)
  • have experience in Software Development for at least 3 years
  • have good English capabilities, both spoken and written, at least B2 (CEFR)
  • have high flexibility and adaptability
  • have experience with specification of high level and low level software requirements (SRS, SDDD)
  • have experience with technical reviews
  • have programming experience in C and/or Assembler Code
  • have knowledge of V-model development cycle (preferably of safety critical software acc. to RTCA/DO-178)
  • have experience within the usage of hardware in the loop test facilities
  • have knowledge of Python Test Script Language and the InCircuit-Debugger (Lauterbach)
  • have knowledge of MISRA guidelines (C)
  • are experienced with DOORS
  • have experience with Configuration management in SVN, or IBM Rational Synergy/Change, or Serena Dimensions
  • are experienced with IBM - Rational Test RealTime
