You...

  • are responsible for onboarding parts from PLM tool to Proplanner:
    • Work on ECOs and MCOs to set up correct status of parts i.e Make or Buy
    • Create Manufacturing part numbers as required for consumable and raw materials
    • Create master data for hand tools
    • Create work centers and other relevant production data in the tool for use of other MEs in their respective instructions
  • are responsible for MBOM creation and Modification:
    • Create and release MBOMs from EBOMs and release them to ERP based on latest design release
  • are responsible for routing (work instruction) creation and review
    • Create routing based on aircraft unit effectivity and release to ERP for enabling release of production order
  • are responsible for drawing review and release in PLM:
    • Check manufacturing feasibility, DMU review for clashes, accessibility for hand tools, tolerance analysis and approve release workflow in PLM
  • are responsible for production order alteration post release of data to shop floor
    • Update in manufacturing data in ERP in accordance with latest design data in case there are outstanding production orders in the shop that are work in progress
