• are responsible for the Source Equipment Suppliers:
  • Identify potential equipment suppliers based on project specifications and requirements
  • Conduct research and evaluations to select the most suitable suppliers for the project
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining the supplier options, including capabilities and pricing
• are responsible for specification and procurement of production equipment (RFI and RFQ):
  • Develop a comprehensive Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) based on project specifications
  • Distribute the RFI and RFQ to the selected equipment suppliers
  • Collect and analyze responses, and provide an evaluation report with recommendations
• perform machine acceptance:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure delivered equipment meets the agreed-upon specifications and quality standards
  • Conduct acceptance tests to verify that the equipment functions as expected
• coordinate equipment commissioning, trial runs, and capability assessment:
  • Work with suppliers, project team, and stakeholders to schedule equipment commissioning
  • Oversee trial runs to evaluate equipment performance under real operating conditions
  • Conduct capability assessments to ensure the equipment meets required production capacity and quality standards
• prepare documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the project
  • Create comprehensive reports on equipment sourcing, commissioning, and assessment activities
