  • drive improvements in quality, service availability, and profitability.
  • coordinate with external partners on project timelines.
  • maintain IT systems for employee enrollment and training documentation.
  • collaborate closely with your line manager on daily operations.
  • conduct market screening for service establishment or replacement.
  • ensure the smooth operation of the central scullery as a contact for technical queries.
  • support laboratory planning, equipment qualifications, and study implementations.
  • oversee facility management and lead process development projects.
  • create and review work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • manage relocatable furniture needs and ensure the operability of the R&D building.
  • handle budget activities, material orders, and invoice approvals.

  • hold a university degree in a relevant field of science (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, Biology), and less professional experience is acceptable for higher degrees.
  • possess strong organizational and communication skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders and priorities with a self-confident demeanor and assertiveness.
  • have the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
  • demonstrate a high level of initiative and creativity in establishing new processes.
  • have three years of laboratory experience with genetic engineering activities.
  • are experienced in dealing with various IT systems, with a strong affinity for and interest in technology.
  • have experience with programming and automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate, PowerBI, and SharePoint Online Lists is a plus.
  • are proficient in German (fluent, spoken and written) and have proficiency in English.
