YOU...

  • will be responsible for the architecture, design, analysis, and overall integrity of the flight control systems
  • take ownership of the development and integration of these systems, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements
  • will be ensuring that all safety standards are met throughout the system development process
  • will support certification tests and be responsible for ensuring compliance throughout the process
  • will manage work packages and suppliers, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution
  • define all requirements for the flight control systems, including the system architecture and interfaces
  • will oversee requirements management, including validation and verification processes
  • will be actively involved in the development, testing, and certification of flight control systems
  • will be responsible for technical management of suppliers
  • will plan and conduct various tests, including development, qualification, and certification testing
  • will serve as a liaison to the production line, assist with troubleshooting on the aircraft, and support flight test operations

Be our forward thinker

YOU...

  • have a degree in aeronautical engineering or a similar field, or an equivalent education
  • have several years of professional experience in the aeronautical industry, particularly in aircraft systems (ideally flight control systems)
  • have ideally worked as a Certification Verification Engineer (CVE) for flight control systems in a previous role
  • have experience with the development and certification of aircraft systems (ideally with EASA CS23 certification)
  • have strong experience in the development and certification of mechanical flight control systems
  • have ideally proven experience working within an EASA Part21J Design Organization
  • are ideally familiar with Siemens Teamcenter or Siemens NX  and have experience with airborne electronic hardware and software development
  • have very good German and English skills
