  • communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
  • define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations, and flight training debriefing stations
  • define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
  • design, develop, test, and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following software development best practices
  • analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs
  • identify and address technical risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies when needed
  • participate in planning, stand-up, review, and retrospective meetings according to the software development methodology
  • participate in code reviews and ensure the code meets the defined coding standards
  • ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems

YOU...

  • have a degree in computer science or a comparable field of study
  • have strong communication skills to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • have solid experience with IT / information systems
  • have deep knowledge in C++ and Qt/QML to program surfaces
  • ideally, have a simulation background
  • very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
