  • develop, implement, and validate innovative AI-based CT image formation solutions, including image reconstruction and denoising for conventional and spectral CT data
  • apply advanced Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Deep Learning techniques to solve complex challenges in CT imaging, including high spatial and temporal resolution reconstruction, noise reduction, and dose optimization
  • drive technological innovation by developing new ideas and advancing novel approaches in CT image formation, reconstruction, and adjacent research domains
  • collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, business stakeholders, and clinical partners to translate research outcomes into clinically meaningful and impactful healthcare solutions
  • contribute to the development of next-generation AI-driven imaging technologies that enhance image quality, improve diagnostic confidence, and generate new clinical insights

Be our forward thinker

DU...

  • hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related scientific discipline
  • possess deep expertise in AI and Data Science, including Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), machine learning frameworks, and libraries such as PyTorch and NumPy
  • have proven experience in developing and training deep learning models, preferably within medical imaging, computed tomography, or related healthcare applications
  • bring strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, combined with hands-on experience using AI tools, agents, and data analytics techniques for research, analysis, and prototyping
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills in English; German language proficiency is considered an advantage
