  • ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and support Zero Harm objectives
  • maintain manufacturing processes that consistently deliver products meeting safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • drive a culture of continuous improvement and Right First Time (RFT) manufacturing
  • develop, implement, validate, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, digital systems, and methods of manufacture
  • identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery performance, and lead times
  • analyse process and production data to identify trends, improve capability, and support decision-making
  • apply and maintain manufacturing process controls and engineering standards within the area of responsibility
  • plan and manage engineering activities, including schedules, resources, risks, and costs, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines
  • support technical problem-solving activities and investigate manufacturing, quality, and product safety issues
  • work collaboratively with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to achieve business objectives
  • build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and external partners to support manufacturing objectives

Be our forward thinker

DU...

  • hold a degree, HND, Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, manufacturing or a related discipline
  • have experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment
  • have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems and methods of manufacture
  • possess knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and process improvement techniques
  • have experience analysing and resolving manufacturing or process-related issues
  • demonstrate strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills
  • work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
